The Benefits of a Heat Pump

A heat pump may be the perfect heating and air conditioning system for your home because of how energy-efficient and versatile they are. The energy efficiency of a heat pump can slash up to 50% off your heating bill, saving you your hard-earned money and reducing your carbon footprint.

Heat pumps differ from traditional furnaces and air conditioners as they perform both tasks, in both the hottest and coldest applications. In cooling mode, they absorb the heat from inside your home and release it outside, cooling the indoor space. In heating mode, they extract heat from the outdoor air (even when it’s very cold) and transfer it indoors to warm your home. This dual functionality makes heat pumps versatile and saves you from purchasing two separate heating systems.
